Iran: Swiss talks last for one day, Lebanon ceasefire will become the core issue

Mars Finance News: On June 21, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported that Bahram Qasemi, a spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said that the one-day Bern summit on Mount Bürgen in Switzerland will hold, in the afternoon, a four-party joint meeting involving Iran, the United States, Qatar, and Pakistan. Today’s meeting is a follow-up on the implementation of a memorandum of understanding reached with the United States. As the United States failed to ensure a ceasefire in Lebanon, this issue will be the core agenda item for the Swiss meeting. The meeting will also discuss other topics, including exemptions for Iran’s oil sales and the unfreezing of Iranian frozen assets.
