Set your stop-loss, and you've already won half the $HYPE

battle.
I've seen the worst liquidations, not because of wrong direction, but because the stop-loss was set so that it was hard to walk away.

When losing 5%, I think "Just a little more,"
When losing 10%, I think "It's already this much,"
When losing 20%, I think "Just cut it and be done."

As a result, I cut, and the market turns back.
It's not that the market is against you; it's that you took "not willing to give up" as a strategy.

I stopped arguing with the market a long time ago. Losing 5% on a single trade, I cut without hesitation.

Make ten wrong cuts, and I can still survive; make one wrong hold, and I might not even have a chance to recover.

Setting a stop-loss is not giving up; it's giving yourself a lifeline.
As long as you're alive, the market will always have your share.
Set your stop-loss, and you've already won half the battle.
