People addicted to trading cryptocurrencies, what happened to them later? To be honest, it's heartbreaking and hard to turn back $HYPE

I have a friend who used to do design work, had a regular life, and occasionally worked out. Ever since he got into futures trading, everything changed. 1500 USD, in two days he made it to 40k USD, and he was so excited he didn't sleep all night. Since then, he never leaves his phone, eats while watching candlestick charts, stares at the screen on the toilet, and even dreams of green and red bars.
He tells others not to touch futures, but whenever there's a fluctuation, he can't help but jump in. If he loses, he's unwilling; if he makes money, he wants to double it. The most dangerous thing about high leverage isn't losing money, but becoming addicted to "quick money." A few dozen points a day, assets doubling—this kind of thrill is more addictive than anything else. Once you've tasted it, your brain remembers that feeling, and ordinary work no longer interests you.
Later, he blew up; 40k USD turned into a few hundred. Losing money isn't the worst; the worst is that he can never go back to his old life. He finds work slow, feels annoyed spending time with family, and his mind is only on "just one more trade to recover losses." But before the market moves, his principal is already wiped out.
What destroys a person is never the market, but the addiction to quick profits. The easier it looks to get rich, the more brutal the price. If you also find yourself watching the screen longer, getting more irritable, and always wanting to recover losses, stop early. Gambling is hard to quit, but quitting "quick money" is even harder.
Control your hands, and you can control your life.
