💥Iran’s military announces the closure of the Strait of Hormuz!

The Central Command of Iran’s Armed Forces, Hatam Anbia, said in a statement today (June 20) that, given the United States’ blatant breach of its commitments and its failure to carry out the terms of the memorandum of understanding intended to end the war; and given Israel’s continued violation of the ceasefire agreement, with ongoing attacks on southern Lebanon that have resulted in large numbers of Lebanese civilian deaths and the displacement of hundreds of thousands; and since the Israeli forces have still not withdrawn from southern Lebanon, it is now announced that the Strait of Hormuz will be closed to all ships. It also stressed that this is only the first step in response to the enemy’s breach of contract. If the aggression continues, further measures will be taken to compel the other side to fulfill its commitments.
