BlockBeats News, June 21 — According to CNN, after Iran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy warned all types of ships not to approach the waterway. A reporter from Iran's national radio and television stated that the IRGC Navy has issued warning messages via radio broadcasts and has directly contacted ships in the area.

The warning states that ships attempting to pass through the strait may encounter mines or become targets of the Iranian Navy forces. The reporter also mentioned that the traffic flow of ships in the Persian Gulf has "further decreased" compared to a few hours earlier.
