$HYPE #我的Gate交易时刻 On June 19, 2026, I completed a contract trade of HYPE/USDT on the Gate exchange: shorted at an average price of 67, and closed the position at 70, achieving a 90% return. When I closed the position and saw the fluctuating profit numbers on the screen, my first feeling was not euphoria, but a clear-headed realization—this was not luck’s gift, but the result of contrarian judgment and maintaining discipline in a heated market.

1. Why dare to go against the trend in the HYPE frenzy?

The recent HYPE market trend is almost a microcosm of the “irrational exuberance” in the crypto market. From community calls to continuous bullish candlesticks, everyone is talking about “hundredfold coins” and “new narratives,” with bullish voices drowning out all rational doubts. The price soared to over 40, as if it was about to break through the ceiling at any moment.

But when I watched the market charts, I saw three signals that could not be ignored:

1. The emotional bubble has reached a critical point: the community is full of “go all in” and “bet everything” voices. Newcomers only see the gains, ignoring fundamentals and capital flow. This kind of “mindless follow-the-leader” frenzy is often a precursor to a bubble burst.

2. The relay of capital has broken: the trading volume at high levels has started to show “shrinking volume and stagnation,” and the seemingly strong upward movement actually lacks new capital to absorb the buy-in. It’s like a balloon at its limit—just a little external force could cause it to burst.

3. The long positions in the futures market are extremely crowded: the long-short ratio is severely imbalanced. When most traders are long, the market’s “harvesting effect” tends to amplify—after all, in the futures market, the more concentrated the positions, the easier it is to become a victim of forced liquidation.

So I chose to short. While everyone was shouting “Go for it,” I pressed the opposite button.
