Ministry of Water Resources: China will experience a new round of heavy rainfall process

A reporter learned from the Ministry of Water Resources that starting tomorrow, our country will enter a new round of heavy rainfall. Affected by this, the main stream of the Xijiang River in the Pearl River Basin, as well as its tributaries—including the Liujiang River, Guijiang River, and Yujjiang River; the main streams in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the water system of Dongting Lake, including the Li River and Lishui River; the water system of Poyang Lake, including the Changjiang River and Le’an River; the middle and lower reaches of the Hanjiang River and the four rivers in eastern Hubei; the main stream in the upper and middle reaches of the Huaihe River and its tributaries, including the Shiguan River and Feihe River; as well as rivers such as Taihu Lake and the Qiantang River will experience a marked rise in water levels. In areas affected by heavy rainfall, some smaller and medium-sized rivers may have flooding above warning levels. (CCTV News)
