Switzerland: Will continue to provide a "low-key and reliable" environment for US-Iran talks

Golden Finance reported that on June 20, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs said it would continue to provide a “low-key and reliable” environment to promote the US-Iran talks to be held at Bürgenstock Mountain in Switzerland. In a letter to the media that day, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs said, “Diplomats from countries currently present are continuing to work to maintain dialogue. For reasons of confidentiality, we are unable to provide any more information about the participants or the content of the discussions.” The US news website Axios had previously cited information from US officials as saying that US President Trump’s special envoy Wittekov is on his way to Switzerland. US President Trump’s son-in-law, Kushner, is currently in Switzerland. (Xinhua)
