#预测世界杯德国VS科特迪瓦 #预测世界杯德国VS科特迪瓦
Many people consider Germany's 7-1 victory to be normal, but Corsica's defensive line is weak, and their strength in facing is insufficient, lacking the ability to impose effective restrictions on Germany's high pressure. Ivory Coast is completely different.
Three tactical approaches to face:
First, Germany's attacking system clashes with the most suitable "shield" for it. Ivory Coast's low defense system 5-4-1, developed during the World qualifiers, features quick recovery on the flanks and toughness in intercepting the ball in the midfield. Nagelsmann's system heavily relies on exploiting space on the wings, but Ivory Coast's full-backs will not press recklessly. It is difficult for Germany to find spaces to infiltrate inside crowded areas.
Second, the gaps behind Germany's defense line form a deadly weakness. Germany's ball possession rate averages 67.4%, and the full-backs frequently push forward. Diallo (Manchester United) and Diumandi (Leipzig) from Ivory Coast, both fast, focus on exploiting the gaps behind the advancing full-backs. The speed of Germany's defenders' tracking puts them at risk of double attacks from Africa's fastest players.
Third, costly mistakes could disrupt Germany's rhythm. Ivory Coast's error rate is 15.3 times per match, much higher than Germany's 11.8. Their defensive style relies on "intercepting advances through mistakes rather than high pressing." With Germany controlling 67.4% of the ball, this approach will gradually lead to card accumulation — the team is likely to receive one or two yellow cards in the first half, requiring the midfield to play more cautiously.
My estimate: the probability of Germany winning is high, but the match will not be easy at all. A 2-1 or 1-0 scenario is the most logical. Germany's win rate in the last 10 matches against opponents of the same level (including neutral and away games) has dropped from 90% to 70%, and these details are important.
Football is not just about adding and subtracting team strength on paper, and tactics are often more influential than market value differences in determining the course of the match.
