I thought $ETH would be more stable—but it just stopped pretending.

To be honest, I was also woken up around 3 or 4 a.m. by the guys over on Farcaster. I was half-asleep, saw a certain inscription project, my brain went on impulse, and I entered a $ETH long with 5x leverage at an entry price of 1584.55.

I thought it would be another bag-holding script, but I didn’t expect the plot where the project team that ran was counter-killed to be this explosive.

When I was scrolling and saw this post just now, I was completely stunned.

This move in $ETH—from 1584 to 1722—has me sitting on an unrealized profit of about 77U, with a return rate of roughly 43%. I can’t say it makes me rich, but it’s that feeling of, “I didn’t miss out and I actually picked up luck”—it’s more addictive than making money.

After all, back when the Federal Reserve kept interest rates unchanged, I thought the rising expectations for a September rate cut were just a smokescreen—turns out the market really bought into it.

On-chain stuff, honestly, is all about information edge and community execution. Back then, rug-pullers could never get their money back chased down. Now everyone has learned to track wallets, and exchanges are also willing to cooperate in intercepting funds. The liquidation logic across the entire ecosystem has changed.

What this feels like to me is that $ETH at the 1722 level is already sitting on a profit cushion relative to my entry price, but institutions like Standard Chartered are still hyping Bitcoin ETF continuous net inflows—showing that old money really is stepping in.

But on the alt side, the mass liquidation data for MASK and ANIME is right there. And with 24-hour trading volume not that high, it suggests retail investors still haven’t fully come back.

Now it just comes down to whether the community’s self-rescue sentiment can squeeze liquidity from the mainstream coins into the altcoin board.

I don’t know how many more times an on-chain “miracle” like this can happen, but at least it proves one thing: in the crypto market, as long as the community is crazy enough, even scam project teams have to bow out.

Do you think this wave of $ETH can hold steady at 1750? If you have an order, tap 1; if you missed out, tap 2. Don’t just talk feelings.

As for that World Cup prediction thing in the “show of support” discussion—the logic is actually the same as chasing money on-chain: it’s all about information edge and community execution.

In prediction markets, the flow of funds often moves ahead of changes in exchange contract open interest. Once this signal gets amplified, it will directly affect the short-term liquidation structure of $ETH and altcoins.
