Golden Finance reports that on June 20th, the U.S. Central Command stated that commercial vessel traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has increased. The U.S. military continues operations in the area to support freedom of navigation. The safety of this international waterway remains unobstructed today, with 55 merchant ships passing through, transporting large quantities of goods and over 17 million barrels of oil to global markets. The Joint Maritime Information Center issued a notice this week confirming that all ships can safely pass along the designated route, which is not affected by arbitrary charges or obstacles. The U.S. military maintains a presence and remains vigilant to ensure that the agreement reached with Iran is fully observed and enforced in all respects.
