Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Bagheri stated on the 20th local time that the first clause of the memorandum, which is "to end all front-line wars, including in Lebanon," is the core pillar of mutual commitments. While Iran fulfills its commitments, the other side should have pressured Israel to cease military operations in Lebanon, but its failure in this regard constitutes a clear violation of the agreement.
Bagheri said that although some measures have been taken to lift the maritime blockade and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the memorandum of understanding is essentially an "all-in-one comprehensive agreement." Violating the first clause means the entire agreement will be questioned, and if the other side does not take immediate necessary measures, the entire memorandum of understanding will face serious issues.
