I really got called out this time, and I obediently admit defeat.

Earlier, I was laughing at that guy eating zongzi in the car and taking reckless trades,
but after following one of his trades out of curiosity, I realized I was the one being educated by the market.

At that moment, I saw $DOGE bounce from around 0.082,
thinking to myself, this rebound definitely won't last,
the overall market sentiment is off, shorting it shouldn't be a problem.

All I could think about were the liquidation data and macro news pressures from earlier,
believing that short positions were as steady as an old dog, and the entry point was good,
so I went all in with 11x leverage, entry price 0.08127.

And what happened? The market didn't follow the script at all.

$DOGE stubbornly pushed up from that level, now at 0.08368,
my position shows an unrealized loss of over $27,
yield rate directly at -32%.
This level is awkward—stop-loss feels like it could drop back anytime,
holding on feels risky if it continues to push higher.

Honestly, it's more painful than a complete blow-up—like dull knife cutting meat.

This experience made me more certain of one thing:
the biggest risk in shorting isn't the wrong direction,
but entering at a point where you miss that spike.
If you pick the right direction but can't hold, it’s useless.

Next time I see a small rebound like this,
either wait until it fully plays out before acting,
or wait until the liquidation zone is in place before entering,
don't chase after that tail of the spike.

Have any brothers recently also fallen into the same trap?
Come to the comment section and chat,
let's see who’s worse off than me, so I can feel better.

Speaking of which, STRC has been de-pegging recently,
leverage liquidations have hit a new historical low,
essentially the same logic as those small rebounds that grind down long positions—
it's not a fundamental collapse, but leverage traders killing themselves.

Such liquidations cause abnormal volatility,
easily disrupting the rhythm of contract traders,
and the liquidity of altcoins and mainstream coins can also be affected—
short-term funds tend to jump between sectors, making it #我的Gate交易时刻 hard to catch.
