Namada was attacked, and over 220k ATOMs flowed into a certain Cosmos Hub address and then were transferred out.

Odaily Planet Daily reports that the privacy public chain project Namada has stated that the protocol experienced a vulnerability attack event. The team is currently investigating and has contacted relevant parties for assistance.

The official said that if the attacker behind this attack is a white-hat hacker, they hope the other party will proactively contact the team to better understand the vulnerability and facilitate the resolution of the issue.

On-chain data shows that some ATOM assets related to the incident are suspected to have been transferred via IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol) to a certain Cosmos Hub network address. According to on-chain tracking information, this address received approximately 228,517 ATOM on June 18. The funds were subsequently emptied within a few hours through IBC transfers and multiple outgoing transactions. Currently, this address only has a small remaining balance.

As of now, Namada has not disclosed the type of vulnerability, the attack method, or the specific scale of losses. The investigation is still ongoing.
