🇮🇳BREAKING: An Indian scammer allegedly complained that 5.73 $BTC ($475,000) had been frozen by Changelly and claimed the funds were legitimate.

Then @zachxbt traced the Bitcoin to a cluster linked to social engineering scams targeting Americans through US exchanges and Bitcoin ATMs.
The broader network has reportedly stolen more than $1 million from victims since 2025, with several elderly individuals among those affected.
When questioned about the source of the funds, the scammer's story reportedly changed multiple times, ranging from a loan to old Bitcoin investments allegedly made through a friend in the US.
The case is another reminder that blockchain transactions leave permanent trails, making it increasingly difficult for stolen funds to remain hidden.
