Once a god starts bleeding, faith turns into valuation.

Trump said, if the Iran deal isn't signed and the fighting continues, it could lead to an economic disaster.
This statement is actually very interesting.
In the past, the United States gave people the impression of:
Collecting protection money across the world, controlling the shipping lanes, dominating the oil order, and picking whoever it wanted to fight.
War was someone else’s ruins,
and the dollar was its own dividend.
But now it’s different.
Once “the god” begins to bleed, the first to change isn’t the enemy—it’s the little guys at your side.
In the past, everyone followed you because you looked unbeatable.
You could fight, win, collect protection money, split the cake, and stand in for everyone as a safety net.
But when the little guys realize:
Your punches can hurt too,
You’re afraid of oil prices even when fighting wars,
Your sanctions against others also boomerang back on you,
And the cost of keeping order keeps rising,
then many people’s inner calculations get recalibrated.
What people call “loyalty” is often not faith.
It’s a wager on the strong winning again and again.
The most dangerous time for an empire is not the moment when the enemy gets stronger.
It’s when allies start to doubt:
Can you still win?
