Iran: Distrusts the United States, is preparing for both scenarios

Mars Finance News, June 20 — Iran's Parliament National Security and Foreign Policy Committee spokesperson Ebrahim Rezaei recently gave an interview, stating that the Lebanon ceasefire issue is a red line for Iran, and Iran will not back down on related matters. Regarding Iran-U.S. relations, Rezaei said Iran does not trust the United States and will not normalize relations with it. Rezaei emphasized that Iran and the U.S. are currently in a hostile state, and Iran is preparing for the possibility of another war, "We do not believe what the Americans say, but act based on our own considerations," and also stated that Iran is pursuing negotiations and diplomatic options, and will continue to negotiate with the United States.
