During trading, SpaceX’s market capitalization briefly surpassed Microsoft and temporarily rose to the fourth-largest publicly listed company globally. By the close, it fell back to $2.66 trillion, overtaking Amazon’s $2.65 trillion, and officially ranked fifth worldwide. The top four were NVIDIA ($5.02 trillion), Google ($4.52 trillion), Apple ($4.40 trillion), and Microsoft ($2.93 trillion).

This jump means that since its listing, SpaceX has gained about 49% in total, with its market value increasing by nearly $90 billion compared with its $1.77 trillion valuation at the IPO. For any publicly listed company, such speed is truly rare.
