BlockBeats News, June 20 — U.S. President Trump, in an Axios interview discussing whether his presidential term is coming to an end, stated that he does not believe it is the end, and still has two and a half years remaining. Regarding the common belief that during the last midterm elections of a president’s second term, their party usually loses control of the House of Representatives, polls begin to decline, and power starts to weaken, Trump said he does not believe that, calling it "fake polls," and claimed his polling data is very good, with a 25-point lead over any opponent. Trump stated that in the next two and a half years, there are some "very significant and influential" things to do, including correcting bad issues and making better what can be improved.

Trump also said that he is building "one of the greatest banquet halls and safety nets in the world," with bulletproof glass, a roof capable of defending against drones, and an aerial drone landing pad on top. Regarding whether Senate approval is needed, Trump said it is not required, and the funding comes from himself and companies like Apple and Microsoft, without the need for appropriations. He also claimed that Washington, D.C., has transformed from a "death trap" into one of the safest cities in the United States.
