#ETH双线:机构持续增持,EF陆续出走

ETH outperformed BTC this week, with continuous news of institutional accumulation. Public companies like Bitmine are making large purchases of ETH and staking to earn yields, and ETFs such as Blackstone also have inflows.

Meanwhile, by 2026, at least 8 senior researchers and core team members have left the Ethereum Foundation (EF), with a surge in departures in May (including Carl Beek, Julian Ma, Tim Beiko, Barnabé Monnot, etc.).

Leadership changes, "Lean Ethereum" restructuring, and internal turmoil are evident.

What does this indicate? Institutions are buying ETH for actual adoption, staking yields, and the ecosystem, not for the Foundation’s trivial matters. The wave of departures from EF might actually make protocol development more decentralized and pragmatic.

For the crypto world, if ETH continues to outperform BTC, the altcoin season could come earlier. Institutional capital inflows are a solid positive signal.

Long-term holders holding some ETH feel more confident seeing institutions buying aggressively, but the chaos within EF remains a hidden risk. Foundation governance instability still needs close attention. Smart money doesn’t care about internal conflicts; they focus on fundamentals. Retail investors should learn to think this way too. $ETH
