BlockBeats News, June 20 — Sonic Labs announced that Michael Kong, Andre Cronje, and David Richardson will step down from their roles on the Sonic Labs Board of Directors. The three will continue to focus on Sonic’s success and will complete the full handover of responsibilities; after that, they will no longer make business decisions for the organization.

Sonic Labs also announced that Matt Visser will serve as CEO, and Kosta Kourkoumelis will serve as COO. The new leadership’s top priority is not to publish a roadmap, but to maintain operational discipline and rebuild trust. Matt Visser said, “I’m not here to promise an immediate turnaround. I will make Sonic better by 1% every day and let it compound.”

Sonic Labs stated that the current token price and community sentiment are both at low levels, and that the next 100 days will be treated as a new first day, with the goal of achieving small improvements every day. Sonic Labs pledged to advance transparent governance, establish a dedicated risk and compliance committee, put the community first, reduce empty announcements, and provide clearer progress updates.
