Intel stock surged as much as 9% on Thursday after Intel reportedly reached a preliminary chip manufacturing agreement with Apple. US President Donald Trump seemingly confirmed the deal. Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives said the deal could help Apple rely less on TSMC.
