Senators Press Treasury to Preserve State Role in GENIUS Act

A bipartisan group of US senators urged the Treasury to protect state authority over stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act's $10 billion threshold. The law allows issuers at or below that market value to be regulated by states with largely similar laws.
