Vance: Plans to formally notify Congress of the US-Iran memorandum "soon"

Gold Financial Reports, June 19th, U.S. Vice President Vance stated that regarding the memorandum of understanding signed with Iran, the Trump administration plans to "soon" provide an official briefing to Congress, and currently members of both parties are criticizing the agreement. Vance told reporters in the White House press briefing room, "We do indeed intend to brief Congress very soon." He added that members of Congress are expected to receive "the official text of this signed document" today. He also said, "We will arrange for the relevant team to brief Congress, and of course, we will respond to various questions raised by members." Vance stated that over the past week, the government has had informal communications with some members of Congress, and will continue relevant exchanges in the future; the specific timing of the formal briefing will be scheduled as soon as possible according to Congress's legislative calendar.
