Tech stocks are going crazy, old Deng stocks are crashing, half are flames, half are the sea.
Yesterday's A-shares movement was even more torn apart, Cambrian, Zhongji Xuchuang, XinEasy, Guangxun Technology, Lianxun Instruments, Dongshan Precision, Yuanjie Technology, all hit new historical highs.
Value investing benchmark China Ping An plummeted 6%, Kweichow Moutai dropped 2%, both hitting new lows.
Moutai's dividend yield reached 4.2%, Ping An's dividend yield hit an astonishing 8.73%.
I want to say, now is the golden opportunity for value investors, and they are excited because they can buy more shares with less money and receive more dividends.
Only pseudo-value investors suffer, break their defenses, and want to cut losses to chase tech stocks.
When the market is usually stable and dividends are steadily paid, everyone claims to be long-term growth investors, talking about dividends, ignoring short-term fluctuations, lying flat and crossing bull and bear markets, with one set of rhetoric after another.
But once there's a deep single-day correction, with large unrealized paper losses in front of them, their mentality instantly can't hold up.
They say they rely on dividends to get by, not caring about stock price fluctuations, but their bodies honestly tremble at intraday volatility;
They claim to hold for three or five years, but after a big drop, they start doubting the track and questioning the logic, eager to sell and cut losses.
Honestly, most long-term faith in stable markets is an illusion; whether you can hold onto your original intention during a big decline is what separates those who truly invest for accumulating shares and collecting dividends from those who just chase high dividend yields for short-term speculation and profit from stable markets.
In a few years, how many of these tech stocks that hit new highs will still be around?
And those that hit new lows, can they still bring you generous dividends? What's there to be afraid of?
Stick to your strategy, and future you will thank you for your perseverance today. #我的Gate交易时刻
