In a significant operation, Indian authorities have destroyed 20,876 kg of ganja worth ₹20 crore in Anakapalli, Andhra Pradesh. The district's ganja cultivation, which stood at 7,515 acres in 2021-22, has been wiped out by January 2026 through drone surveillance and alternative crops.
