Deputy Director of the China International Development Cooperation Agency Zhao Fengtao stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on June 17 that the way to poverty alleviation lies in "blood-making" rather than "blood transfusion," and the path of development is about moving forward together rather than alone. China is willing to work with all countries, taking the implementation of the Global Governance Initiative as an opportunity, to promote solutions to global poverty reduction challenges and jointly build a better world free from poverty and shared development.
