Iran announces new transit regulations for the Strait of Hormuz: applications must be submitted 48 hours in advance

BlockBeats News, June 19th, local time on the 19th, Iran's "Persian Gulf Strait Administration" stated that, in view of the signing of the Iran-U.S. Memorandum of Understanding and related authorities' instructions, the following is hereby notified to the Strait of Hormuz passage applicants: within the announced time frame, ships that submit transit applications according to regulations and meet the relevant conditions will be arranged to pass. According to the transit requirements issued by the "Persian Gulf Strait Administration," vessel transit applications must be submitted at least 48 hours before arriving in the Strait of Hormuz area.
