The first London breakout in EURUSD is not as reliable as many believe.

Data from the last 5 years according to @edgeful
Range: first 15 minutes of London
Sample: 1297 days
Results:
• Breaks only upward: 13.49%
• Breaks only downward: 13.65%
• Breaks both sides: 72.86%
• Does not break either side: 0%
What does this mean?
Chasing the initial breakout of the range is not a very good idea.
If the price breaks the high, it doesn't automatically mean an upward continuation.
If it breaks the low, it doesn't automatically mean a downward continuation.
In fact, on 72.86% of the days, EURUSD ends up breaking both sides of the range.
The opportunity is not in chasing the first breakout 😉
