Military World Network News: On the 19th local time, the Israel Defense Forces issued a statement saying that four officers were killed in southern Lebanon that day in an attack by Hezbollah, including a tank battalion commander. The statement said the deceased officers were the commander of the 52nd battalion of the Israel Defense Forces’ 401st Armored Brigade. The incident occurred around midnight in Tébounit village in southern Lebanon, where a suspected drone or an anti-tank missile struck the tank carrying the battalion commander, killing all four people inside the tank. The Israel Defense Forces said the incident is still under further investigation.
