BlockBeats News, June 19 — New York-based startup General Intuition is in talks to raise approximately $300 million. The company is building a foundational model to train AI agents on how to move and act in space and time.

This funding comes just eight months after General Intuition spun out from Medal, a game video upload and sharing platform. At the time, the company completed a $134 million seed round. If this round is successfully completed, it will raise its valuation to slightly above $2 billion.

Insiders say the company has secured funding support from investors including Jeff Bezos and Eric Schmidt, as well as backing from existing investors Khosla Ventures and General Catalyst.

General Intuition was founded and is led by Medal co-founder Pim de Witte, who, together with co-founders Eloi Alonso, Adam Jelley, and Vincent Micheli, co-manages the company. All of these co-founders are researchers focused on technologies in world modeling and simulation.
