Mars Finance News, June 19 — According to Xinhua News Agency, the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement posted on its website on the 19th that the U.S.-Iran talks originally scheduled to be held on Mount Bürgenstock near Lucerne in central Switzerland on that day have been canceled.

The statement said that the talks originally planned between the United States, Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan were postponed. “Switzerland still remains willing to facilitate these talks. Relevant preparations for Bürgenstock will also continue.”

Earlier, the website of Switzerland’s public broadcasting service reported that the Bürgenstock area was busy that day, with luxury vehicles bearing diplomatic license plates, police officers on duty, and military alert lines clearly visible.

To arrange the U.S.-Iran talks planned for June 19 on Mount Bürgenstock near Lucerne, Switzerland had already approved the deployment of troops and the provision of security support as early as June 17, and also approved the temporary closure of parts of the airspace over the Bürgenstock area during the talks.
