Trump said he signed the deal because, within four more weeks, the market would have collapsed under the pressure of oil supply.


What that means is that it was no longer possible to keep oil prices artificially low by relying on the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
If that's the case, the underlying supply imbalance hasn't gone away.
Higher oil prices are coming.
