BlockBeats News. June 19. According to Xinhua News Agency, the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement published on its website on the 19th that the U.S.-Iran talks originally scheduled to be held that day at Mount Bürgenstock near Lucerne in central Switzerland have been canceled.

The statement said that the talks originally planned among the United States, Iran, Qatar, and Pakistan have been postponed. “Switzerland is still willing to facilitate these talks. Relevant preparations for Mount Bürgenstock will also continue.”

Earlier, the website of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation reported that on the day in question, the Bürgenstock area was bustling, with luxury sedans displaying diplomatic license plates, police officers on duty, and military security lines all clearly visible.

In order to arrange the planned U.S.-Iran talks to be held on the 19th at Mount Bürgenstock, Switzerland had approved the deployment of troops as early as the 17th to provide security support, and also approved the temporary closure of parts of the airspace over the Bürgenstock mountain area during the talks.
