Abstract generation in progress
Trump said the US would bomb Iran if Iran violated the US-Iran peace deal, while Bitcoin rallied 3% on the deal. The Strait of Hormuz reopening removed the supply shock that had sent oil above $100 a barrel earlier this year. Brent crude sits close to $75 today, June 18, after peaking at $126 during the conflict. The IEA expects global oil supply to rise from 102.4 to 110.3 million barrels per day in 2027 if the deal holds.
