Japanese and South Korean stock markets open high but decline later, with the Korean market closing slightly lower

The Nikkei 225 Index closed up 196.57 points on June 19 (Friday), a gain of 0.28%. During the session, it once fell by more than 0.5%, to 71250.06 points. The South Korean KOSPI Index closed down 14.81 points on June 19 (Friday), a decline of 0.16%. During the session, it once fell by more than 3%, to 9049.03 points.
