On June 19, according to OnchainLens monitoring, the whale address "pension-usdt.eth" has fully closed its ETH short positions, realizing a profit of about 5.8 million USD in this transaction. The address's cumulative profit has exceeded 41.68 million USD, making it one of the most prominent traders on the chain.
During months of ETH swing trading, pension-usdt.eth's strategy showed rapid switching between long and short positions. This year, it has repeatedly established and closed ETH short positions within the 2,000 to 3,000 USD range using 3x leverage. The recent liquidation of ETH shorts continues a series of short operations since January and April. Notably, after closing ETH shorts with a profit of 1.34 million USD on May 27, the address's position shifted to a 3x short of 1,000 BTC, now at a floating loss. Exiting all ETH short positions may indicate that its risk exposure is shifting toward BTC or could impact short-term market sentiment and capital flow for mainstream coins. $ETH
