What is your monthly fixed cost for artificial intelligence? In this era, the amount a person pays for AI has become the most important indicator of how close they are to keeping up with current trends and making money. You can't expect to find gold without a pickaxe, shovel, or sieve; similarly, every modern person must have a fixed AI budget. That's why the current AI hype isn't a bubble; on the contrary, just like the invention of the internet and mobile phones, we are witnessing the formation of another new normal for humanity.
Since I have a fixed set of hands and feet, I pay $20 for ChatGPT and, depending on my current needs, I subscribe to Cursor for $60 or $200 each month. Besides that, I try out one or two new tools, which adds an extra cost of between $10 and $100. This is an avoidable and unnecessary expense, but especially in this period, there is a very valid rule: if you do something, you can win or lose; experience is a bonus. If you don't do anything, you can't win anything.
