$SPCX SpaceX Prepares to Issue at Least $20 Billion in Bonds

Sources familiar with the matter reveal that SpaceX's investment banking team is expected to begin investor outreach meetings as early as next week, planning to launch a bond issuance of no less than $20 billion.
This is the company's first issuance of investment-grade U.S. dollar bonds, with the funds intended to refinance a bridge loan of $20 billion maturing in September 2027, which is also a major part of the company's $29.1 billion long-term debt.
Bank of America, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, and Morgan Stanley jointly arranged this bridge loan and will also lead the underwriting of this bond issuance. The communication plan and timing are still subject to adjustments.
