Ripple Leaders Signal Major Crypto Moment as Swell Hits 10-Year Milestone
Ripple Swell 2026 is drawing executive focus as the company prepares its largest conference around institutional crypto adoption and XRP Ledger growth. The New York event will combine Swell with XRPL Apex for the first time, bringing more than 1,500 expected attendees across finance, blockchain, and digital assets.
Swell’s 10th Year Draws Executive Focus on Institutional Crypto Adoption
Excitement around Ripple Swell 2026 accelerated after Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, Ripple President Monica Long, and Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz highlighted the event’s significance for Ripple, XRP, and the XRP Ledger ecosystem. The conference will take place in New York from Oct. 27-29 and will combine Swell with XRPL Apex for the first time.
Executive comments have emphasized institutional adoption and ecosystem growth as central themes of the gathering, which is designed to bring together participants from traditional finance, blockchain development, and the broader digital asset industry.
On June 18, Garlinghouse wrote on X:
“10 years of Swell converging with real scale, institutional adoption, and Swell + Apex together for the first time this fall. We’ve been building toward this moment — see you in New York!” the Ripple CEO added.
Conference organizers expect more than 1,500 attendees, over 75 speakers, more than 50 sessions, and programming across three stages. The combined Swell and XRPL Apex format is designed to bring together financial institutions, fintech companies, developers, researchers, investors, and members of the XRP community under a single event.
Ripple has highlighted enterprise use cases for XRP and its RLUSD stablecoin, including treasury management functions for corporate finance teams. Garlinghouse has also pointed to XRP’s settlement speed, low transaction costs, and more than 4 billion completed transactions on the XRP Ledger as indicators of network utility.
Ripple Executives Highlight Swell 2026 Growth, XRP Utility, and Ecosystem Expansion
Monica Long, president of Ripple, has described the 2026 gathering as the company’s largest Swell conference to date. Her comments focused on expanded programming, multiple audience tracks, and New York’s position as a global financial hub.
Long stated:
“An experience that’s both audacious and illuminating, taking place in the financial capital of the world – that’s what you’ll find at Ripple Swell,” she noted.
Separately, David Schwartz highlighted a range of XRP Ledger use cases ahead of the event, including payments, tokenization, interoperability, decentralized finance, artificial intelligence, and ongoing network development.
Featured speakers include Matt Damon, co-founder of Water.org; Tom Farley, chairman and CEO of digital asset firm Bullish and former president of the New York Stock Exchange; Brad Garlinghouse; Billy Hult, CEO of electronic trading platform Tradeweb; Monica Long; and David Schwartz. The lineup spans financial markets, digital assets, technology, and philanthropy, reflecting the conference’s institutional, ecosystem, and innovation-focused programming.
