BlockBeats News, June 19 — According to The Washington Post, Anthropic executives pledged in a proposal submitted to U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo to work more closely with the White House and strive to address safety concerns that have led to restrictions on their powerful "Mythos" and "Fable" models. Sources familiar with the matter revealed on Thursday that during ongoing reform negotiations, Anthropic promised to improve communication with the Trump administration and to resolve any safety issues more quickly in the future.

The source added that negotiations between Anthropic and Trump administration officials are progressing smoothly, although there is no definitive timetable for fully resolving the issues at this time. Another insider stated that as of Thursday, Anthropic co-founder and Chief Computing Officer Tom Brown, along with Head of Public Policy Sarah Heck, are leading negotiations with Trump administration officials. Representatives from Anthropic and the Department of Commerce did not respond to requests for comment.
