BlackRock Launches BITA Bitcoin Income ETF on Nasdaq

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF, BITA, began listing on Nasdaq on June 16 with a 0.65% sponsor fee. The fund seeks Bitcoin exposure plus option premium income through covered calls on about 25%–35% of portfolio assets. BITA listed $10.65 million in net assets as of June 15, while IBIT had more than $50 billion in net assets. BlackRock issuer materials warn that covered calls can limit gains when Bitcoin rises significantly.
