My Journey in the Trading World: How I Transformed from an Emotion-Driven Beginner to a Disciplined Trader?

It wasn't a smooth start; it was filled with tough lessons and setbacks that shaped my current investment mindset and made me a more aware and cautious trader.
The Reckless Beginning (FOMO Trap)
Like many beginners, I entered the crypto market driven by the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO). I saw long green candles and jumped straight into trades without any prior analysis or a clear plan. I used high leverage seeking quick wealth, and the inevitable result was my portfolio being liquidated and suffering heavy losses.
Those moments were very frustrating, but they were the wake-up call I needed to break free from the illusion of "getting rich overnight."
The Turning Point with Gate.io Tools
I decided to stop reckless trading and start genuine learning. I took a step back and began studying technical analysis and risk management. What really helped me on the Gate.io platform was the abundance of professional tools and their ease of use.
