The asphalt refinery operating rate has risen from low levels, and processing profits have significantly improved.

As of this week, the capacity utilization rate of 92 asphalt refineries in China is 14.1%, an increase of 1.9 percentage points compared to the previous week; 77 domestic heavy-duty asphalt companies have a capacity utilization rate of 14.0%, an increase of 2.1 percentage points week-on-week. The total weekly domestic asphalt output is 235k tons, an increase of 32k tons (15.8%) from the previous week, and a decrease of 302k tons (56.2%) year-on-year. In terms of profit, the average comprehensive processing profit for asphalt this week is 255 yuan/ton, with a proportionally deducted weekly profit of 447 yuan/ton, a significant increase of 350 yuan/ton compared to the previous week.
