Two departments jointly carry out the selection of typical application scenarios for agricultural robots in 2026.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly carry out the selection of typical robot application scenarios in the agricultural sector for 2026. Focusing on three key areas—planting, breeding, and primary processing of agricultural products—the initiative highlights key links including seedling propagation and breeding, land preparation, sowing and planting, field management, and harvesting, as well as animal feeding, breeding, the collection of livestock and poultry products, resource utilization of waste and harmless treatment. It also covers key links such as primary processing, storage, and transport of agricultural products. A batch of typical robot application scenarios that are technologically advanced, highly mature, demonstrably effective, widely promising, and replicable for promotion will be solicited and selected, and efforts will be made to strengthen the promotion and application of such scenarios.
