On the morning of June 15th, the Navy's 83rd Fleet, composed of the Ocean-going Training Ship Qi Jiguang and the Comprehensive Landing Ship Kunlun Mountain, set sail from a military port in Qingdao, Shandong, carrying more than 400 teachers and students to carry out a deep-sea comprehensive internship and visit mission.
During the voyage, the fleet will organize teaching and training in five modules: geographic navigation, astronomical navigation, joint subjects, basic professional skills, and on-the-job observation, and will conduct special lectures on political education, local teaching, and professional development in conjunction with the navigation areas.
While docked at foreign ports, activities such as deck receptions and student visits and tours will be held.
This mission aims to enhance students' naval professional qualities and job competence, highlight an international perspective, focus on practical education, and achieve the goal of "navigation all the way, training all the way, research all the way, improvement all the way" in oceanic drills.
