Our scientists have successfully achieved autonomous mass production of silicon-28 isotopes with an abundance exceeding 99.99%.

China Nuclear Group's Nuclear Industry Physical and Chemical Engineering Research Institute announced on the 15th that Chinese scientists have made a key breakthrough in the field of stable isotope enrichment and high-purity silicon production, successfully achieving autonomous mass production of silicon-28 isotopes with an abundance exceeding 99.99% for the first time, with key product indicators reaching internationally advanced levels. The research team stated that this scientific breakthrough will provide solid support for China's independent development of silicon-based quantum computing chips, as well as high-quality development in cutting-edge technology fields such as advanced process semiconductors, precise navigation, and measurement standards.
