After SpaceX went public, the board of directors was strengthened, with Elon Musk's ally Roelof Botha appointed as an independent director

Golden Finance reports that on June 18, SpaceX announced the appointment of Elon Musk's long-time ally and Sequoia Capital investor Roelof Botha to the company's board of directors, serving as an independent director and joining the audit committee. The appointment took effect immediately. It is understood that Roelof Botha has become SpaceX's eighth director, but this time he does not represent Sequoia Capital in the SpaceX board seat, and Elon Musk remains the company's chairman, CEO, and chief technology officer.
