In the crypto world, more frightening than capital losses is the cognitive confusion caused by "information overload."

#MyGate Trading Moments
When I first entered the market, I followed countless communities and over a hundred influencers, with my phone constantly popping up notifications every day. Today I hear this coin will double, tomorrow I hear that sector is about to crash. Amidst the massive noise of information, I began to feel anxious, wavering, and even frequently changed my original trading plan.
The result is predictable: frequent position switching, getting hit from both sides.
What changed my perception was a trade where I chased a high and got caught because I "believed insider information." That day, looking at my floating loss statement, I turned off all chat apps and sat quietly for two hours. I realized: if your trading decisions are based on others' calls, then you are destined to be just liquidity for others.
A true trader needs to build their own "information air purifier":
1. Do subtraction in information, addition in research: exit 90% of chaotic noise groups, and dedicate time to project whitepapers, on-chain data tracking, and objective market trends.
2. Find high-quality resonance in Gate Square: later I got into the habit of checking some hardcore creators’ in-depth analyses on @Gate__Square. Here, not only is there first-hand market information, but more importantly, many traders who have experienced bull and bear markets share their underlying logic, rather than just pure "CX."
3. Build your own trading system: others’ opinions are only for reference. Only by forming a logical, self-consistent standard for buying, holding, and selling can you stay calm during market fluctuations.
Now, I review the market every day without fail. There are myths of instant wealth every day, but I only make money within my understanding. The feeling of "taking only one ladle" from the vast river of water is a sense of solidity that no amount of insider tips can give.
Abandon the noise, think independently—this is the most valuable trading cognition I’ve gained with real money.
