BlackRock Launches BITA Bitcoin ETF With Double-Digit Yield and Upside Cap

BlackRock will begin offering the iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF under the ticker BITA on Nasdaq. The fund limits Bitcoin gains in exchange for double-digit payouts by selling call options on up to 35% of its portfolio. Robert Mitchnick said current conditions imply 70% upside retention in IBIT and a mid-to-high-teens yield. Goldman Sachs filed for a similar yield-generating product in April.
